9th Annual Contemporary Performance Diasporas Festival: Gathered Momentum
June 18-19, 2022
For the past 9 years, Inferno Theatre has presented the Contemporary Diasporas Performance Festival— a multicultural, interdisciplinary performance and arts festival. The festival was created out of Inferno’s mission to link cultures and explore human relationships. This year’s Diasporas Festival includes works in theatre, dance, music, and performance.
This year’s festival was made possible thanks to the Civic Arts Grant Program of the City of Berkeley. Additional support was provided by the Henry Levy Group.

Rapture consumes lovers at first sight, tangling relationships. Couples linger, trading perspectives in contested new territories of science and quantum theory, as they assert their commitment to forging new relationships and systems while desire works its magic.
