Fourth Annual Contemporary Performance Diasporas Festival

Inferno Theatre proudly presents its fourth annual Contemporary Performance Diasporas Festival, May 26-28, 2017 at South Berkeley Community Church, 1802 Fairview Street in Berkeley (entrance at rear of building on Ellis St.) close to Ashby BART station. This cross cultural, interdisciplinary festival is a natural outgrowth of Inferno’s mission to link cultures and explore human relationships in space and time. Once again, we are pleased to present artists representing multiple generations.

The works presented in this year’s Contemporary Performance Diasporas Festival focus on live ensemble and solo performances, theatre, dance, music, performance art, and poetry. Many of these works are still being developed and are being presented for the first time.

This year’s festival features the following solo performers and performance companies:

  • Anton's Well Theater Company / Dance Theater

  • Bay Area Zeta Players / Theater

  • Beatrice e Valentina / Theater

  • Indigo Jackson / Poetry - Performance art

  • Inferno Theatre / Theater

  • Joel Knopf / Theater

  • Molinete / Music

  • WordDance Productions / Dance Theater

  • Onyinye Ihezukwu / Theater
